News - Cycle-Smart Foundation releases new fun book for children

A NEW Fun Book for young cyclists has been published by The Cycle-Smart Foundation.

Featuring a range of puzzles and activities, the A5 full colour booklet has already proved popular with young cyclists.

Amongst the puzzles it features are a word search, spot the difference and match the helmet. There is also an activity to test their knowledge of road signs and parts of the bicycle and a maze to see if they can find the safe way to cycle from school to home.

Angela Lee, the Foundation’s founder and Chief Executive, said: “Children learn so much through play and by doing fun activities. This booklet has been specially designed to help young cyclists aged five to 10 learn some of the basics of safer cycling whilst at the same time having fun.”

The booklet also includes a cycling quiz and a10 top cycling tips as well as where to find more information about cycle training.
